Global Process Engineer for product introductions, Final Assembly

Role Summary

As a Global Process Engineer, you will be the technical responsible from final assembly in product development projects at Scania. You will play a key role in the development of both the product and the process, always keeping the end user at the forefront. This involves close cross-functional collaboration with various functions such as R&D, external suppliers, and chassis workshops in Europe, China, South America and within the TRATON group.

Job Responsibilities

  • Secure Scania & Traton production targets for safety, ergonomics, quality and productivity in product development projects.
  • Continuously develop and challenge our process and methods.
  • Work on requirements for new assembly methods, equipment and development of the global assembly sequence.
     

Who You Are

We are now looking for someone with a passion for technology who wants to work in process and product development in a global environment. We believe that you are communicative, flexible and self-motivated. You find motivation in an environment characterized by cross-functional and problem-solving-oriented collaboration. You are self-evident in improving our processes and methods together with your colleagues.

 

We see that you have a university or civil engineering education or equivalent experience in a relevant area. It is meritorious if you have a few years of experience in production engineering or other relevant areas. The position requires good knowledge in English and Swedish.

 

Meritorious if you have knowledge in Catia, Enovia and Lean tools.
