Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) at Scania: Our HSE organization provides expertise, governance, and support at corporate, global, and local levels. The head office is in Södertälje, with representation globally.

 

Position Overview: We are seeking a new Head of Group Health Management to lead our corporate function through change and transformation. This role requires the ability to anticipate future occupational health and safety needs.

 

Job Description: As the Head of Health Management, you will be responsible for developing and implementing global health management strategies to ensure the well-being of our employees across all sites and regions. You will lead and develop your team in alignment with our strategic plan, build and maintain networks, promote collaboration, and ensure business efficiency. Your role will also involve promoting health, safety, and sustainable productivity throughout the organization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive health management programs and policies.
  • Lead initiatives to promote physical and mental health in the workplace.
  • Collaborate with health and safety teams within Scania and TRATON to ensure consistency and compliance with global standards.
  • Monitor and analyze health-related data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Foster a culture of health, safety, and environmental awareness throughout the organization.
  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Health Management, Occupational Health, Public Health, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in senior leadership, preferably in a global business or similar role.
  • Experience in health management with a track record of developing and implementing health programs in a global organization.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to create engagement.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and diverse environment.
