Role Summary
As Head of Commodity Sheet Metal, you will lead a team of skilled purchasers responsible for a broad supplier portfolio—ranging from raw materials to finished steel products. Your mission is to secure a flexible and competitive supplier base that meets Scania requirements in Technology, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Sustainability throughout the product lifecycle.
This is a dynamic position that offers the opportunity to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders—both internal and external—in a commercial, fast-paced, and rewarding environment. As we enter an integration phase with TRATON, this position will play a key role in shaping our supplier base for the long term. You will be engaged in both strategic and operational tasks, working closely with colleagues across the TRATON Group brands to drive alignment, innovation, and value creation.
The role reports to the Head of Commodity Chassis & Metal and is part of the Commodity Chassis & Metal management team.

This position, majority of the team and the management team is located in Södertälje. The role involves regular travel, as our internal and external counterparts are located worldwide.
