Role Summary
Scania Group is seeking an expert operational leader to drive HR transformation through the strategic ownership of our SAP SuccessFactors platform. In this high-impact role, you will lead a global in-house team, guiding the implementation, optimization, and ongoing development of the SAP SuccessFactors suite while aligning with Scania’s digital roadmap.
You will play a pivotal role in decommissioning a fragmented HR IT landscape, creating a cohesive, streamlined, and innovative HR tech environment. Your leadership will help ensure that Scania’s HR technology solutions deliver measurable value, foster collaboration, and enable digital innovation across the organization.
As the Head of Global SAP SuccessFactors Practice, you will shape the future of Scania’s HR technology landscape, leading a strategic transformation that impacts the entire organization. You’ll collaborate with global leaders and teams, driving innovation and enabling Scania to achieve its HR and business objectives.
Responsibilities

Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a global team of SAP SuccessFactors professionals, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
- Set and manage performance goals and KPIs for the team to ensure successful project delivery and operational excellence.

Strategic Ownership of the Digital Roadmap:
- Drive the execution of Scania’s HR digital transformation roadmap, aligning with broader business objectives.
- Lead the decommissioning of legacy and disparate HR IT systems, transitioning to a simplified ecosystem centered on SAP SuccessFactors.
- Ensure full utilization of the SAP SuccessFactors platform as the foundation for Scania’s HR technology strategy.

HR Technology Transformation:
- Provide strategic guidance on leveraging the SAP SuccessFactors suite to drive HR efficiency and innovation.
- Oversee the management of all SAP SuccessFactors modules, including Recruitment, Onboarding, Employee Central, Compensation, Talent Development, Learning, and Analytics.
- Partner with stakeholders to align HR technology solutions with organizational needs and objectives.

Optimization and Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on advancements in SAP SuccessFactors and ensure continuous adoption of innovative practices.
- Optimize global HR processes to ensure data accuracy, smooth operations, and enhanced system performance.
- Implement secure data structures, role-based permissions, and robust reporting mechanisms to enable data-driven decision-making.

Change Leadership:
- Lead large-scale transformation initiatives, ensuring successful adoption of new HR technologies.
- Champion engagement and user adoption, fostering a culture of innovation and agility across Scania.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, HR, and external partners, to address challenges and enhance system integration.
- Engage with senior global leaders to provide insights and strategic direction on HR technology initiatives.

Compliance and Data Security:
- Ensure all deployments comply with global HR policies, legal regulations, and data security standards.
- Implement and maintain best practices in HR data governance to safeguard sensitive employee information while enabling strategic insights.
Qualifications

Experience:
- 10+ years of experience leading HR transformation initiatives using SAP SuccessFactors in large, complex, and matrixed organizations.
- Proven track record in strategic advisory roles, preferably with experience from top-tier consultancy firms.
- Multiple up-to-date certifications in SAP SuccessFactors and expertise across its modules.

Leadership:
- Strong leadership skills with a history of managing, coaching, and inspiring global teams.
- Experience managing large-scale HR technology projects with global stakeholders and delivering high-impact results.

Strategic and Technical Expertise:
- Deep understanding of SAP SuccessFactors modules, including Recruitment, Employee Central, Compensation, Talent Development, Learning, and Analytics.
- Expertise in data structures, role-based permissions, and HR analytics, with experience leveraging AI and automation capabilities.
- Strong knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors integration with other business systems.

- Proven ability to deliver digital transformation by decommissioning legacy systems and driving the adoption of new HR technologies.
- Awareness of HR technology trends and their application in global organizations.

Change Management and Collaboration:
- Demonstrated success in leading complex change initiatives, aligning global teams, and ensuring stakeholder buy-in.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across diverse teams and senior leadership.
