Commercial Operations has the global responsibility for the strategies, operations, and control of the Scania-owned sales and services companies and business units. Commercial Operations provides support to the Scania-owned as well as to the independent franchise network through its support functions and support companies. The Southern Europe region covers France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia–Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Bulgaria and Morocco.

Role Summary

We are looking for a Regional Internal Auditor for Commercial Operations, who will be responsible for the execution of the internal audit activities covering commercial operations processes.

In this position, you will join the Group Internal Audit function. You will work in an international environment, closely collaborating and coordinating activities with the Regional Director and Regional CFO as well as Management, Process Owners, and other stakeholders in the Business Units. You will get an opportunity to overview and understand the Scania business model, specifically within Commercial Operations, and the possibilities to create a network in Scania’s organization.

You have high energy and drive, are eager to learn, proactive and structured in your work as well as solid experience and an active interest in data analytics and in performing data-driven audits.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the full internal audit process, from risk analysis to planning, execution, reporting, and follow-up
  • Contribute to developing audit methods, with a focus on enhancing data-driven audits and analytics
  • Support the annual audit needs assessment and planning process
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on complex global audits, highlighting issues and proposing solutions
  • Build cross-functional networks, stay updated on regulations, and assess risks and controls independently
  • Deliver high-quality audits and provide coaching, oversight, and feedback to support team development
  • Traveling is included in the role, ca 25%

Who you are

  • University degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Computer/Data Science, or equivalent
  • 5+ years of audit experience, incl. 2+ years in internal audit (within the automotive busieness is a merit)
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Experience and interest in data analytics tools (e.g., PowerBI, ACL)
  • Proactive in learning, sharing knowledge, and explaining concepts
  • Strong communication, integrity, flexibility, and active listening
  • Project management and interpersonal skills; able to work in teams or independently
  • Strong analytical skills; able to see both big picture and details
  • Willingness to travel
  • Excellent English (written and spoken); other languages is a plus
