We have an exciting opportunity for a temporary position for parental leave as PPE Lead to join Scania´s global HSE organisation. The organisation has a focus on governance within the field of HSE on corporate, global, and local levels – a worldwide scope for all businesses. The head office is located in Södertälje, but the organization is represented at the production sites in Oskarshamn, Luleå, within Zwolle in the Netherlands and Angers in France.

Position Overview
You will have the leading role on Scania in the field of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) from a work environment perspective in a highly coordinating role leading several teams and manage a structured administrative work. Guiding with governance structure and follow up compliance in the global PPE framework.
Some of the main responsibilities will include:
- Responsible of the PPE assortment Sweden and the administrative structure for implementing these in our purchasing system.
- Develop and manage the Scania standard assortment of PPE through cross-functional collaboration with working teams, Scania stakeholders and suppliers, towards Our vision Scania Care – Zero Harm.
- Collaborate with relevant industry colleagues and representing Scania in those networks.
- Provide expert knowledge and support in compliance with current legislation, policy and methods together with the stakeholders ensuring adherence to relevant methods etc.
- Develop and support in risk assessments methods for PPE and recommend trainings.
- Develop Swedish guidelines and internal cross-functional routines and processes.
- Participate in Swedish networks and co-work within the global structure.
- Contribute to the implementation and enhancement of the Integrated Management System (ISO 45001).
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends.
- Provide and develop relevant information and material and guidelines via our intranet.
Qualifications
- Adequate education as a Work environment engineer, Ergonomist or corresponding in the field relevant for the position.
- Alternatively, you have acquired equivalent knowledge through longer work experience.
- Ability to work collaboratively, lead cross-functional teams, and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience of forming organizational and administrative structures and processes.
- Competence in Swedish Health & Safety legislation.
- Fluent in Swedish and English
Meritorious
- Competence in ISO 45001 work environment management system standard and specifically with in standards and certifications regarding technical specification of PPE.
- Good knowledge with relevant IT tools and pedagogical tools.
- Experience in method development and processes.
