Your role
As Legal Counsel at Erinion, you will play a key role in ensuring that our business operates within a strong legal framework as we continue to grow and expand. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will work closely with teams across the organization and act as a strategic partner in areas such as commercial contracts, corporate governance, compliance and risk management.
Your responsibilities will include drafting and negotiating agreements, advising on regulatory matters, and proactively identifying and managing legal risks. You will also support business-critical initiatives – including international expansion, financing, and strategic partnerships – ensuring our operations comply with local and international laws.
Key responsibilities
· Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts with customers, suppliers and other key business partners.
· Provide legal guidance on strategic initiatives such as international expansion, financing, partnerships, and new market entry.
· Support corporate governance, including board and shareholder meetings.
· Track legal and regulatory changes and ensure compliance across markets where the company operates.
· Develop and maintain internal policies, frameworks, and templates to support scalable and compliant business practices.
· Identify and manage legal risks across the business, including dispute resolution and coordination with external counsel.
Your Profile
We are looking for a Legal Counsel who thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments. You have a strong legal background, a commercial mindset, and a proactive approach to legal challenges. As the sole legal expert in the company, you are comfortable working independently while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
· 5+ years of experience in a legal role, preferably in a corporate, in-house counsel, or law firm setting.
· Strong expertise in contract law in a domestic and international setting.
· Proven experience in advising on regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance, and implementing risk management strategies in a commercial setting.
· Strong business acumen and the ability to provide clear, actionable legal advice to teams across the organization.
· Ability and personal drive to work proactively and hands-on with legal assessments and projects.
· Fluency in Swedish and English; proficiency in other languages is considered a merit.
