MFS Brand Director, Nordics & Baltics
Scania Finans AB is now initiating and starting an exciting expansion to become a Multi Brand Finance Company, and is now also entering the Nordic-Baltic market for MAN Financial Services products (MFS).
Scania Finans AB is a financial services company within the business area TRATON Financial Services. We offer financing and insurance solutions for Scania and MAN products and related equipment through our presence in the Nordic and Baltic countries. Our customer finance portfolio exceeds 26 billion SEK and the company has over one hundred employees.
We are on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Brand Director - MFS to spearhead our financial services performance in these vibrant markets. This role offers a unique opportunity to join a growing team and make a significant impact on our business. Reporting to the MD of Scania Finans and operationally to Regional Director Europe - MFS.
The Brand Director will be responsible for driving the commercial operations of the MFS Brand within Scania Finans AB, ensuring that set goals and targets are met.
Job Responsibilities
- Commercial Strategy: Develop and implement brand strategies for financing and insurance, including product portfolio, go-to-market plans, targeted volumes, profitability, and risk appetite.
- Marketing & Sales: Plan effective marketing campaigns and brand positioning strategies. Establish and manage sales and contract management processes.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with brand dealers, sales agents, and other relevant stakeholders.
- People Management: Hire, train, coach, and mentor team members. Set performance targets and define development paths.
- Financial Performance: Full P&L responsibility. Deliver portfolio development with profitability in line with strategic business plans. Monitor KPIs and introduce remediation actions as needed.
- Compliance: Ensure all processes and work are compliant with policies and regulations.
- Credit & Collection: Oversee credit underwriting and collection activities within mandate.
Your Qualifications:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Extensive experience in the financial services sector, preferably with a background in commercial vehicle industry or asset-backed financing.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.

Lead a cross-functional internal team (e.g., technical, commercial, and legal) to configure a complex tailored or bespoke product-and-services solution and associated contractual terms that meet the customer's mid- to long-term needs at a national/key operating-unit level. Negotiate agreement with the customer and internally with commercial colleagues to ensure that customer requirements are met at an acceptable level of profitability and cash flow, or, alternately, review and authorize complex sales proposals from team members that deviate from standard terms, escalating issues to senior management where appropriate.
Promoting Customer Focus
Develop internal marketing plans and work collaboratively with other departments to improve internal relationships in a large organization and to build strong external customer relationships.
Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Data
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the CRM system within the area of responsibility, identifying and communicating opportunities for system improvement that may enhance the management of customer relationships.
Policy Development and Implementation
Develop procedures and interpret and apply policy for area of expertise to achieve specified outputs, or advise the wider business on application of policy, then monitor implementation of those procedures within the organization.
Organizational Capability Building
Evaluate the capabilities of staff within the department to identify gaps and prioritize development activities. Implement the organization's formal development frameworks within the area of responsibility. Coach and mentor others to support the development of the organization's talent pool.
Functional Strategy Formation
Lead the development and implementation of strategy for an important area of responsibility within a function, anticipating complex issues, challenges, and opportunities and ensuring integration with wider functional strategy.
