Global Health, Safety & Environment is Scania's organization with a focus on expert support in the field on corporate, global, and local levels. The head office is located in Södertälje but the organization is represented at the production sites in Oskarshamn, Luleå, and Zwolle in the Netherlands and Angers in France. 

Are you ready to make a significant impact on workplace health and safety? We are seeking a business driven Manager to lead one of our customer teams within our unique in-house Occupational Health Provider in Sweden. With a team of around 40 dedicated professionals, we are an independent expert resource and part of the Global Health, Safety & Environment organization at Scania. 

 

Your Role

As a Manager, you will lead a multidisciplinary medical team comprising physicians, nurses, and psychologists. Your central role will ensure that we deliver top-tier occupational health services that blend business efficiency with the highest quality of independent expertise. Your focus will be on leading your team to enhance work ability and to promote physical and psychosocial health for our customers in alignment with our strategic plan and vision, “Scania Care, zero harm”.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a medical team to deliver exceptional services.
  • Work closely with your customers  to understand their unique needs and challenges, providing solutions and proactive support to enhance their overall health and wellbeing.
  • Ensure a comprehensive range of preventive and remedial services at individual, group, and organizational levels.
  • Manage daily operations, staffing, and collaboration both internally and externally.
  • Promote health, safety, and sustainable productivity among your stakeholders.
  • Work closely with other medical teams and professionals as one team, one organization.
  • Partner with the Chief Medical Officer to ensure compliance with Swedish legislation and best practices.

 

As a member of the management team of the Occupational Health Provider in Sweden you will actively drive the development and strategic alignment of the Occupational Health function across Sweden.

Your Profile

We are looking for a leader with strong people skills, capable of influencing, collaborating, and driving effective results. Experience in healthcare services, medical requirements and legislation is a requirement.

 

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership experience, preferably in a cross-functional setting.
  • Ability to build and maintain commitment and focus on results.
  • Experience in driving change initiatives.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to engage and motivate others.
  • Business acumen with experience in managing budgets and achieving results.
  • Relevant academic background from healthcare.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English.
  • Willingness to travel within Sweden.
