Operations Manager France
Are you structured, technically curious, and motivated by solving real operational problems? Do you want to work hands-on with data, systems, and remote troubleshooting in the transition to electric heavy duty transport? This role sits at the core of making charging operations work.
The role is preferably based in the Netherlands, with responsibility for the French market.
About Erinion
Erinion designs, builds and operates depot and destination charging solutions for heavy-duty vehicles. As part of the Scania Group, we combine the strength of a global transport leader with the agility of a fast-growing company. Our approach focuses on energy efficiency and optimal utilisation, ensuring that electrification is not only sustainable but also financially and commercially viable for our customers. We support different ways of financing, owning and operating charging sites, so that each customer can find the model that best fits their business. With operations across eight European markets and global expansion underway, we enable transport operators to electrify their fleets with confidence and long-term profitability.
The role
As Operations Manager for France, you own the operational performance of charging sites with a strong focus on remote troubleshooting, system behaviour, and data-driven decisions.
You spend a significant part of your time working in systems, analysing issues, identifying root causes, and resolving incidents without physical intervention. You act as the link between customers, service partners, and internal tech teams. You will also perform customer handovers on site as well as in depth trainings in charging and charging systems.
Your responsibilities
Remote troubleshooting & technical operations
• Perform advanced troubleshooting in CMS and connected systems
• Analyse logs, error patterns, and system behaviour to identify and resolve root causes
• Ensure configurations, firmware, and connectivity are correct and stable
Operational performance & incident management
• Own uptime and daily operational stability for customers in France
• Monitor performance and proactively address deviations
• Handle incidents end-to-end with clear communication and documentation
Service partner coordination
• Coordinate on-site interventions when remote resolution is not possible
• Ensure high quality and SLA adherence
Customer onboarding & handover
• Conduct customer handovers and training in charging operations and system usage
• Ensure customers are set up to operate sites efficiently from day one
Data, reporting & optimisation
• Work actively with operational data (uptime, utilisation, case patterns)
• Drive improvements based on data and recurring issues
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who combines a strong technical mindset with the ability to drive operational performance and resolve complex system issues. In this role, you take ownership of keeping operations stable and running smoothly. You are structured and organised, able to manage multiple parallel cases, and curious about how systems behave and where issues arise. You communicate clearly and work with systems, data, and stakeholders to ensure reliable and efficient operations.
Experience
• Background in operations, technical support, service coordination, or similar
• Experience with incident handling or system-based troubleshooting
Technical mindset
• Strong technical interest with a curiosity to understand how systems work
• Comfortable working in systems (CMS, CRM, logs, dashboards)
• Interested in how data, automation, and emerging technologies can improve operations
Communication & Mobility
• Fluent in French and English, written and spoken
• Open to travel, including occasional on-site visits and customer interactions
Nice to have
• Experience from EV charging, energy, automotive, or similar technical domain
• Understanding of OCPP, charging systems, or connected hardware
