Outbound Engineer

Role summary
The Outbound Engineer is responsible for managing and optimizing outbound logistics, ensuring efficient transportation flows, stakeholder coordination, process improvements, and fleet management. This role involves developing multimodal transport strategies, enhancing outbound operations, and implementing innovative logistics solutions to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Additionally, the role requires monitoring delivery performance and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure high service levels and continuous improvement.
Job Responsibilities
Outbound Transport & Network Development
- Implement and manage transport flows efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Coordinate RFQ/RFI processes for outbound logistics.
- Develop structured network processes for optimization.
Stakeholder Coordination & Support
- Collaborate with stakeholders for seamless logistics and coordinate cross-functional initiatives
Process Optimization & Alternative Solutions
- Implement alternative transport modalities for flexibility and cost savings.
- Refine logistics processes to meet business needs.
- Support innovative logistics solutions.
Delivery Performance & KPI Monitoring
- Track key metrics (on-time delivery, lead time).
- Identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Implement corrective actions for reliability.
- Ensure logistics partners meet performance targets.
Who you are
Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where it is required quick response to diverse stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in outbound logistics, transportation planning, or supply chain engineering.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
- Experience in KPI tracking, performance monitoring, and data analysis.
