Product Owner - Data Analytics
General
TRATON Group R&D is driving the shift toward smarter, safer, and more sustainable transport systems. Within the Systems Engineering organization, the EE & Software Process team enables effective and efficient development of electrical and embedded systems across our brands.
As part of this, our agile team EE Analytics—operating within the Vehicle Software Factory Definition VCT—is growing. We’re now looking for a committed and structured Product Owner (PO) to lead the team’s backlog and ensure that we deliver high-impact data solutions that support vehicle software development across the TRATON Group.
The Team
EE Analytics is a cross-functional and international team working with modern data platforms, tools, and frameworks. We collaborate across brands and functions to enable analytics capabilities and deliver insights that matter.
You will work closely with developers, analysts, and other agile roles, while acting as the central bridge between stakeholders and the team. The team works in an agile setup and follows SAFe principles within our Vehicle Software Factory Definition VCT.
Your Role
As Product Owner, you will:
- Own and manage the product backlog for the EE Analytics team
- Prioritize and refine backlog items to maximize value and support business goals
- Ensure alignment between team deliveries and stakeholder needs across the VCT
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Scrum Masters, architects, and technical teams
- Translate high-level requirements into actionable tasks with clear outcomes
- Foster shared understanding of goals, value, and delivery scope within the team
- Support planning, reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring the team remains focused and efficient
- Identify dependencies and coordinate with other teams and POs as needed
- Continuously evaluate and adapt product direction based on feedback and evolving priorities
Your Profile
You are an organized and communicative leader who thrives in agile environments. You bring clarity, structure, and customer focus to product development, and you’re passionate about enabling data-driven decision-making through effective team collaboration.
We believe you have:
- Previous experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in an agile setup
- Strong understanding of data, analytics, or platform development (you don’t need to code, but you speak the language)
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, dbt, Power BI, or Snowflake is a plus
- A structured and communicative working style, with the ability to balance business goals and technical constraints
- The ability to align stakeholders around a clear product vision and delivery roadmap
- A good grasp of agile frameworks like SAFe or Scrum, and experience participating in agile ceremonies
Experience in the automotive, specifically within Traton Group is GREAT plus. Fluency in English is necessary; Swedish is not a must.
