Product Owner for Digital Charging Services

In the Digital Charging Services team, you will be at the forefront of developing innovative digital tools that simplify how customers charge and manage their Battery Electric Vehicles. These premium services, powered by real-time vehicle data are delivered through My Scania, our mobile apps, and directly in the vehicle, and play a key role in helping businesses electrify their fleets with ease.

Who you are
We are looking for a purpose-driven Product Owner with strong leadership and collaboration skills - someone who thrives in complex environments and brings people together around a shared vision. In this role, you will help shape innovative digital solutions by turning real customer needs and business goals into a clear, actionable backlog and deliveries.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to refine the backlog, prioritize what matters most, and deliver meaningful value through every iteration. Strategic thinking, empathy, and a sharp eye for detail will help you guide development while fostering a collaborative, respectful team culture.

Your responsibilities
· Collaborate with Product Managers to shape and execute the product strategy and roadmap, translating customer needs into clear, actionable requirements.
· Own and prioritize the product backlog - prioritizing features and aligning delivery with stakeholder expectations and business goals.
· Lead with clarify and empathy with the Scrum Master, guiding the team through product iterations, to maintain momentum, focus and delivery of customer value.
· Act as a connector between stakeholders, tech and design - fostering transparency, alignment and shared understanding across teams.
· Use insights from connected electric vehicles and user data to shape features that support seamless digital charging experiences for our customers.
· Present product updates and strategic plans to stakeholders at various levels within a global organization.
· Ensure our solutions meet the highest standards for legal, compliance and security requirements, balancing innovation with responsibility.
· Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, aligning efforts and building relationships across markets and teams.
· Support the Product Manager in identifying innovation opportunities, aligning with broader sustainability and electrification strategies, while supporting cross-teams collaboration.
Skills & Qualifications
· A structured, proactive mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality, user-centered digital experiences.
· University degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Business Information Technology, or a related field.
· +5 years of experience leading agile product development in cross-functional teams, with a focus on collaboration and trust.
· Skilled at turning complex business needs into clear, actionable product requirements.
· Solid understanding of agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, or similar) and hands-on experience with product ownership practices.
· Clear, confident communicator in English – confortable with presenting ideas and aligning with stakeholders from all levels.
· Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence across departments, cultures, and levels.
· Comfortable with occasional travel to meet stakeholders and visit vustomers.
· Experience in building customer-facing digital services; background in automotive, electrification or connected services is a plus.
