Product owner D365 Finance and procurement

Role summary

You will be responsible for leading the Finance and Procurement squad in the D365 Platform. You will be required to manage the product backlog associated with the finance and procurement area. You will be working closely with all stakeholders to define and maintain the product backlog. In this role, you will be required to challenge/improve ways of working and drive the team towards agreed targets and deliveries.

In this role, you will be required to proactively align with stakeholders on the roadmaps, status, and deviations if any. You will be working with your squad to ensure that your deliverables are released with the desired quality. Your backlog should be clearly communicated and transparent, you will be actively working with sprint planning, and backlog grooming/refinement supported by your scrum master.

 

Job responsibilities

  • Providing and maintain a Finance and Procurement blueprint for D365 Finance and Supply chain management ERP to cover the need of Scania Commercial Operations.
  • Continuously, update/develop the blueprint/system to accommodate latest technologies and features in this arena.
  • Providing guidelines on how to work with finance and procurement in D365.
  • Support other blueprint squads on how to setup their areas to work together with finance and procurement processes.
  • Manage and maintain partner/ISV solutions to extend the Dynamics 365 system
  • Supporting implementation teams on how to configure the system to cater for local requirements as well as centrally mandated processes.
  • Guide resources in implementation squads to work with finance and procurement in the most efficient way.
  • Ensure that support organization has the knowledge available to take care of finance and procurement related incidents.

We believe that you have a university degree or corresponding knowledge. A minimum of three years’ experience of working as a product owner, senior developer or solution architect is required. We expect you to have an affinity for working with business systems and have experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply chain management. Experience with other comparable systems, Power Platform, Power BI and Azure is favorable. You are willing to travel, find international contacts stimulating, and communicate in English fluently.

At the Dynamics Platform team, we are responsible for defining and implementing D365 in our business units within Commercial Operations. We are now strengthening our team and looking for a Product Owner for the finance and procurement area.

We are looking for an expert professional who can take ownership of the finance and procurement area of the platform, the deliveries of new features, and collaborate with the other development teams and our business units.
