Sales Engineer

Role Summary

As a Sales Engineer, you will operate in a dynamic, cross-functional and global environment, working closely with our worldwide distributor network and key internal stakeholders. You play an important role in shaping competitive and customer-focused transport solutions, translating complex needs into smart, sustainable vehicle offerings. Through close collaboration and a strong understanding of our products and business, you help drive efficiency, quality and long-term commercial success.

Job Responsibilitie

In this role, you will:

 

· Enable high-quality and value-adding presales support through ICD/ICS Helpdesk and Presales FRAS

· Collaborate in shaping bodybuilder interfaces that strengthen Scania’s offering in advanced applications

· Build and nurture strong partnerships with bodybuilders and distributors to accelerate business growth and long-term performance

· Contribute to the continuous development of sales support capabilities, improving efficiency, quality and customer experience

· Play an active role in supporting Scania Commercial in achieving sustainable growth and ambitious performance targets

Who You Are

 

We are looking for a collaborative and solution-oriented team player who enjoys solving complex challenges with customer needs at the centre. You have a genuine interest in Scania’s products and services and understand how they create value in real customer operations. Experience within the truck segment and familiarity with advanced rigid solutions and bodybuilding processes will help you succeed in this role.

You likely have experience working with Scania’s sales systems and product configuration tools, and you have a good understanding of presales and sales processes. A background within the automotive industry, whether commercial or technical, is beneficial, and a relevant academic degree or equivalent experience is considered an advantage.

Through strong presales support and close collaboration with bodybuilders and distributors, we contribute to developing competitive solutions for complex and advanced applications.
