Inbound Network Design and Flow Engineering is a department within Logistics Nordic. Our ambition is to become the leader in sustainable logistics, and our mission is to maintain and develop our inbound transport flows by designing and continuous improve flows with minimal environmental impact, high quality, and minimal total logistic cost.

Job description

As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing the Inbound Transport Network and Transport & Material Control processes to align with Scania’s future strategies and goals.

We heavily focus on Scania’s Sustainability journey, where collaboration with internal and external partners is key to achieving our high sustainability targets.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor, identify, propose and implement activites to improve cost, quality and sustainability of the transport network from suppliers to our production units.
  • Participate in and lead projects.
  • Collaborating with our regional material control functions to discuss business requirements and include in specifications for new RFQs as well as supporting in current flow setup.
  • Work independently within your area of responsibility, respecting but also challenging the current logistics standards.
  • Develop inbound network and processes to support Scania's global growth and sustainability journey.

Your Profile

  • Education: University degree in logistics or a related field.
  • Experience: Work experience in supply chain is necessary for the role. Practical experience in project management is highly valuated.
  • Skills: Fluent in spoken and written English. Strong analytical and communicative skills.
  • Personal Attributes: Positive, driven, curious, and communicative. Talent for connecting with new people. Ability to see the big picture, understand details, identify new opportunities, and take initiatives for improvements.
