Support Operations Engineer within Autonomous Solutions
Scania is undergoing a transformation from being a leading supplier of trucks, buses, and engines to providing complete and sustainable transport solutions. Together with TRATON and our sister brands MAN, Volkswagen Truck & Bus, and International, we are working to shape the future of mobility with innovative and environmentally conscious solutions.
Our values – customer first, respect, team spirit, responsibility, and elimination of waste – are at the heart of everything we do. Together, we are at the forefront of creating a sustainable future.

If so, you might be the perfect fit for our newly established Autonomous Transport Systems – Monitoring & Operation Support (ATS MOS) team.
In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring uptime and reliability for Traton’s state-of-the-art autonomous vehicle operations. By keeping systems running smoothly and identifying potential issues before they impact performance, you’ll play a key role in delivering a seamless and dependable experience for our customers.
The role also includes being part of an on-call rotation, which means you need to be available to handle critical incidents outside of regular working hours.

- Request, manage, perform, and deploy urgent changes when no workaround exists for high-priority incidents.
- Collaborate closely with Customer Success Support and engage relevant resources (e.g., product developers, vendors) to resolve complex technical issues.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on incident status and resolution progress.
- Lead root cause analyses to prevent recurring or high-priority incidents in the ICE system or off-board operations.
- Document and share knowledge with onsite teams and Customer Success Support.
- Provide training to build in-depth understanding of ICE and off-board autonomous vehicle systems.
- Participate in major incident reviews and contribute detailed input for incident reports.
- Actively improve incident management processes, with a focus on ICE and off-board autonomous vehicle operations.
