Test Cell Engineer - Battery Testing

Role Summary

This role is part of TRATON Group R&D, located in Södertälje, Sweden.
Be part of the Traton Electrification Journey with a focus on testing li-ion batteries, especially performance testing. You will be responsible for assuring that the test equipment will perform according to our customers’ requirements.

What We Deliver

Test data based on performance testing of batteries such as li-ion battery cell, module, and pack.

Job Responsibilities

Assuring the technical availability of a number of test equipment as a team. Installing batteries in the test equipment, troubleshooting of test equipment, tight communication with internal customers, improvements in our test equipment etc.

Who You Are

You have strong computer skills and basic electrical skills. You enjoy solving practical problems in a team setting and value interaction with our customers. You have a clear focus and communicate effectively in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing. A Swedish driver’s license is a must.

Advanced electrical skills and experience working with li-ion batteries are considered a merit.
