What you will do 

 

As a test developer for the gearbox management system (GMS), you get the opportunity to work with powertrains that year after year is ranked on top in different market segments and rewarded with several awards for their functionality and efficiency. In close collaboration with the function developers, you will be an instrumental part of delivering world-class software. 

While working as a test developer you gain comprehensive knowledge of the GMS. You specialize in certain functional areas but you will also get a good understanding of how the functions are connected in the software and how they interact with the vehicle.

The main deliverables include: 

·       Analysis of functions and requirements

·       Test design, including development of test cases and test scripts

·       Planning and execution of tests in simulated environments (HIL/SIL) and vehicle

 

What you will bring 

 

To excel in this role, you quickly grasp advanced problems and find creative solutions together with your colleagues. You are curious, structured and able to clearly communicate results. As the role include many interfaces you enjoy making new contacts and building relationships with colleagues in different teams.  

You have a relevant university education or equivalent experience.  

·       Required: Experience in embedded software testing, programming skills, European driving license for cars. Fluent in English.

·       Preferred: Experience in software development, knowledge of powertrains, C driver's license. Ability to communicate in Swedish.
