Transfer pricing controller to TRATON Cross Brand Operations

Our team, TRATON Cross Brand Operations is part of a global matrix organization (GIF Finance) with connections to the respective brands within the group as well as the finance team of TRATON.

 

GIF Finance is a group controlling function reporting to TRATON GROUP CFO consisting of three departments with focus on Project, R&D, Procurement and Portfolio controlling. Together with the GIF Finance team and other stakeholder within industrial operations we establish sound financial models and follow-up to enhance efficient collaboration between all brands in the group.

 

Job Description

 

As a Transfer pricing controller you will together with the team of Cross Brand Operations and TRATON Tax be the centre of competence for transfer pricing. You will be responsible for transfer pricing models and guidelines for collaboration with key stakeholders and implementing them across the organization. You will provide guidance and training to finance and operational teams on transfer pricing concepts, policies, and compliance requirements. This is an ideal position for anyone who wants to broaden their career in a global setup and get a complete and detailed understanding of the entire TRATON industrial system.

 

Main Responsibilities

 

Business models: Formulating and updating transfer pricing models to align with business strategies and comply with tax regulations.

 

Collaboration: Working closely with finance, tax, legal, and other relevant functions to gather necessary information and align transfer pricing strategies with overall corporate goals.

 

Intercompany Transaction Analysis: Evaluating and scrutinizing transactions between different divisions or entities within the company to ensure they are priced appropriately.

 

Risk Mitigation: Together with Tax department identifying and addressing potential tax risks associated with transfer pricing and implementing strategies to safeguard compliance

 

Communication: Ensuring clear communication of transfer pricing policies and strategies both internally and externally to foster a smooth collaboration within the group.

 

Overall, the role requires a combination of financial acumen, analytical skills, and a deep business understanding to optimize  intercompany pricing structures and ensuring compliance.

 

 

Your Profile

 

The person we are looking for is a senior finance professional who understands the big picture but does not shy away from zooming into details when necessary. You have advanced communication and presentation skills. You also have a large industrial understanding and see it as a challenge to connect the dots between business and finance.  You have a master’s degree in finance and business administration or similar and relevant work experience.

 

You are motivated by working with large cross-functional teams and also being a key speaker to top management. Your level of proficiency in English is advanced and other languages are considered a merit. The job will require a handful of travels per year and you will be located in Södertälje/Sweden, Munich/ Germany or Lisle/ USA with possibility to work remote some days per week.
