Role Summary
• Vehicle Property Owner for Drivability
• Vehicle Validation of Powertrain Functionality with regard to Drivability
• Vehicle Validation of Powertrain Functionality with regard to Energy Efficiency Properties
• Set Concepts and Innovative Functional Approaches for future powertrain and propulsion systems to achieve optimal drivability and performance
• Create Control Strategies to enhance powertrain and propulsion systems
The position is based in Södertälje
Job Responsibilities
• Lead and coordinate the "Concept & Simulation" Unit
• Support the process to design, build and optimize section capacities and capabilities
• Support the Global Section Head in planning resources and capacity within scope
• Take responsibility for personnel management within local units, including recruiting, hiring, sourcing, staffing, developing and replacing personnel
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary and globally allocated teams
Who You Are
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Several years of experience in function and software development, as well as in a leadership position
• In-depth knowledge of vehicle dynamics and drivetrain technology
• Experience with simulation and software development tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink,
• Team player with excellent communication skills
• Creativity and innovative spirit
