Role Summary
As Vehicle Property Owner for Drivability, you will oversee the validation of powertrain functionality with a focus on both drivability and energy efficiency.
You will be responsible for setting the concepts and introducing innovative functional approaches for future powertrain and propulsion systems, always aiming for optimal drivability and performance.
In addition, you will create control strategies designed to enhance the effectiveness of powertrain and propulsion solutions, ensuring that the systems meet current and future demands.
Location: The position is based in Södertälje
Job Responsibilities
• Lead and coordinate the "Concept & Simulation" Unit
• Support the process to design, build and optimize section capacities and capabilities
• Support the Global Section Head in planning resources and capacity within scope
• Take responsibility for personnel management within local units, including recruiting, hiring, sourcing, staffing, developing and replacing personnel
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary and globally allocated teams
Who You Are
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Several years of experience in function and software development, as well as in a leadership position
• In-depth knowledge of vehicle dynamics and drivetrain technology
• Experience with simulation and software development tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink,
• Team player with excellent communication skills
• Creativity and innovative spirit
