Role Summary 

 

As a Unit Manager within the development of TRATON’s modular high-performance software platform for central control units (ECUs), you will play a key role in enabling fast, high-quality application development for trucks and buses. You will contribute strategically by shaping the technological direction and product roadmap, ensuring alignment with customer needs. Your main focus will be on optimizing processes, methods, and tools to support the realization of the Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) vision. 

 

 

Job Responsibilities 

 

Your main tasks will be: 


•    Supporting the process to design, build and optimize section capacities and capabilities
•    Supporting the VCT-triad and the Section Head in shaping the technological strategy and the product roadmap in line with our customers' needs.
•    Safeguarding ways of working and principles on a unit level (based on global guidelines) and manage escalations within the unit as needed
•    Supporting Global Section Head to plan resources and capacity within scope
•    Taking responsibility for personnel management within local units including recruiting, hiring, sourcing, staffing, developing and replacing personnel
•    Recruiting and hosting Scrum Masters for the flow landscape

 

 

Who You Are

You hold a relevant university degree and bring a solid background in Electrical Engineering, complemented by proven leadership experience- ideally within Information Technology or the automotive industry. Experience in Purchasing, Production, or Project Management is considered an asset. Most importantly, you are passionate about working with people, with a natural talent for fostering team spirit and empowering developers to reach their full potential.
