Dealer Training Specialist
Scania USA is looking for a Dealer Training Specialist to strengthen the technical capabilities of our service network through high-impact training and field coaching. This role is responsible for delivering and continuously improving technical and warranty training for Scania dealers across the U.S.
You will play a critical role in ensuring that technicians are fully equipped to diagnose, repair, and support Scania products according to our global standards — enabling high service quality and customer satisfaction.
This position requires strong technical knowledge, hands-on training experience, and a structured, service-oriented mindset.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Deliver Tier 4F engine training (basic and advanced) to dealer technicians and OEM partners.
- Conduct warranty training, ensuring consistent understanding of tools, procedures, and compliance.
- Facilitate classroom and hands-on training both at Scania USA and on-site at dealer locations.
- Provide in-field coaching and support during complex or recurring technical cases.
- Track training participation, certification status, and progress using internal systems.
- Maintain and manage the dealer training matrix for full network visibility and compliance.
- Support the ongoing evolution of the training program by integrating technical updates and field feedback.
- Train OEM and rental partner technicians on Scania Fleet Levels 1 and 2.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience delivering technical training, ideally within the heavy-duty, engine, or powertrain sectors.
- Strong technical understanding of Scania products and diagnostic platforms (or equivalent).
- Confident presenter with the ability to deliver content to varied technical audiences.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage records, training logistics, and reporting.
- Structured and adaptable, with focus on practical outcomes and technician performance.
- Must be available and willing to travel extensively up to 50% for training delivery and field coaching.
Required Qualifications
- Technical degree, certification, or equivalent hands-on experience in engine diagnostics, mechanical systems, or industrial equipment.
- Background in training delivery, service operations, or field support within the automotive, heavy vehicle, or power systems industry is strongly preferred.
- Advanced understanding of diagnostic tools, service documentation, and warranty processes.

Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (U.S. Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee, or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
