People Services Executive

Role Summary

The main responsibility of the People Services Executive in Talent Acquisition is to oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, provide strategic guidance to hiring managers, and drive continuous improvement through streamlined and efficient hiring practices.

Job Responsibilities

Professional Competencies (Duties and Tasks)
1. Talent Acquisition Strategy & Guidance - Ensure structured recruitment planning and alignment with hiring managers
•    Guide hiring managers through the recruitment process.
•    Understand hiring needs through structured intake meetings with hiring managers.
•    Advise managers on market trends, availability of talent, and expected timelines.
2. Candidate Sourcing & Pipeline Management - Ensure proactive sourcing to build strong pipelines and reduce time-to-hire
•    Source potential candidates through job portals, social media, referrals, and recruitment drives.
•    Build and maintain a pipeline for critical and recurring roles.
•    Engage passive candidates and promote employer branding through outreach.
3. Screening & Candidate Assessment - Ensure quality shortlisting aligned with role requirements
•    Review and screen CVs for role fit based on job descriptions and hiring manager expectations.
•    Prepare and share candidate summaries with hiring managers.
•    Schedule and coordinate interviews with stakeholders.
4.Full-cycle Recruitment Management - Ensure smooth coordination and closure of the end-to-end recruitment process
•    Manage the full cycle from job requisition, sourcing, interviews, selection, offer, screening and onboarding.
•    Liaise with HR and hiring managers to ensure timely feedback and closure.
•    Coordinate candidate onboarding preparation with relevant departments.
5. Recruitment Process Improvement & Automation - Drive continuous improvement in recruitment process and efficiency
•    Identify gaps and opportunities to streamline recruitment workflows.
•    Implement simple automation tools to manage processes effectively.
•    Standardize documentation and communication templates for hiring activities.
•    Ensure consistent candidate experience and internal process compliance.
6. Reporting & Stakeholder Communication - Ensure transparency and data-driven recruitment decisions
•    Maintain accurate tracking of open roles, candidates, and hiring stages.
•    Provide weekly/monthly recruitment reports with key hiring metrics.
•    Present insights and recommendations to team. 
•    Monitor hiring trends and share updates with relevant stakeholders
7. Support Improvement work - Understand and act according to the Scania way frame work
•    Understand and act according to the Scania way frame work
•    Maintain the normal situation, detect deviations and act immediately to eliminate them
•    Contribute in daily follow-up, daily steering
•    Ensure P&C processes are maintained as per Scania standards and requirements, in line with the Scania House (SRS)

Desirable Experience & Qualifications

•    HR or Business Related Diploma holder
•    4-5 years’ experience in talent acquisition
•    Fluent in English, and additional local languages is an advantage
