About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced People & Culture Business Partner to join our team. This role provides end-to-end HR support, partnering with managers to deliver practical, compliant and people-focused solutions across the employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide HR advice and support to the business, ensuring consistent application of policies and processes
- Provide guidance on employment relations matters, including conducting investigations and supporting disciplinary processes
- Partner with the Head of People & Culture to support current and future organisational requirements
- Support organisational initiatives
- Assist with learning and development initiatives
- Support recruitment activities as required
- Support the promotion of a positive safety culture across the business, and provide guidance to managers on health and safety matters as required.
- Assist with monitoring health and safety activities, including incidents, reporting and corrective actions
- Support safety-related initiatives, training and committee activities
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline, and/or relevant professional experience
- Proven experience in industrial and employee relations, with sound working knowledge of related legislation, principles and best practice
- Demonstrated experience in performance management and coaching
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail capabilities
- Well‑developed analytical, reporting and continuous improvement skills
- Working knowledge of NZ Health & Safety legislation is advantageous
- Willingness to build capability in health and safety
- Previous experience within the automotive or a related industry (desirable)
